村委会由五个自然村联合组成，村名因此而来[1]。

沿革[edit]

1951年此地属浮山区；1958年改为五联大队，1983年改设五联乡。1986年成立五联村委会，1990年设管理区，1999年再设村委会，沿用至今[1]。

荣誉[edit]

2021年12月，广东省爱卫会授予五联村「2021年广东省卫生村」荣誉称号；2025年3月，五联村被命名为「第七届全国文明村镇」[1]。
