历史沿革[edit]

1951年为麦园乡，1958年设大队，1983年复为乡，1986年设村委会，1990年为管理区，1999年再设村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

麦园村在2019年9月登上一份2018年广东省名单，即「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]

2026年1月，该村获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
