历史沿革[edit]

1951年划为下坝乡，1958年成为下坝大队；1983年再次设下坝乡，1986年组建村委会，1990年为下坝管理区，1999年村委会重设，延续至今 [1][2]。

姓氏宗族[edit]

据维基百科，张夷绪（又作张彝序）自三饶下寨迁往下坝乡（霞霸乡），被视为新塘下坝一带的开基祖 [3]。

2021年12月，广东省爱卫会授予下坝村「2021年广东省卫生村」称号 [1]。
