历史沿革[edit]
1958年设新霞大队，隶属凤江公社；1983年设新霞乡，隶属凤洲区。[1]1986年设新霞村委会，隶属黄冈镇；1990年设新霞管理区，1999年又设新霞村委会。[1]
2019年9月，新霞村入选2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]2020年12月，该村获广东省爱卫会授予「2020年广东省卫生村」荣誉称号。[1]2022年10月，新霞村列入淘宝村名单。[1]
