高峰村是潮安区归湖镇下辖的行政村，位于乡政府北面约7公里、万峰山下。它南面与高原村、高升村毗邻，东北面与凤凰镇交界，西北面与万峰林场接壤。村子原称凤北乡，后改为现名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1956年，此地成立高级社，命名「高峰高级社」；1958年改为「高峰大队」；1999年改称高峰村民委员会，名称沿用至今。[1]

村名是合作化时期定下的，博雅地名网称这一带是本乡地势最高之处。[1]

姓氏宗族[edit]

炉内村的居民是陈、文两姓。陈氏在清康熙中期从凤凰后河来到此地。据称早年此地曾建炉炼锡、炼金，故名炉内。[1]

南寮村姓文，清乾隆年间从凤凰下埔迁来。鸡笼山村姓文，清嘉庆年间从凤凰下埔迁来，相传村后的山形似鸡笼。[1]

文化[edit]

2021年9月，高峰村列入第二批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单，产业为茶叶。2020年12月，广东省爱卫会授予高峰村「2020年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
