莫陇村是庵埠镇下辖的行政村，位于梅林湖东北侧，在区政府驻地西北约2千米、镇政府驻地西北约3千米处。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
据百度百科，莫氏先祖于宋代迁居此地，村因主姓而得名「莫陇」，俗称莫厝。[1]
人口民族[edit]
村域面积0.06平方千米，户籍人口1602人，耕地443亩，主要种植水稻和甘薯。村中有采石、食品加工等企业42家。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
莫凝墓在梅林湖畔虎山南麓，属宋代古墓葬，2020年4月16日被公布为第四批潮州市文物保护单位。[3]
文化[edit]
2023年5月，广东省爱卫会授予村庄「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[2]
