历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网，南宋末年（祥兴年间，1278年至1279年），潘梅岭自福建莆田迁入此地，村子最初称小长桥。清初，人们为缅怀这位先祖，改称梅龙乡。[2]
1999年起，村庄改用梅龙村民委员会的名称。[4]
