东凤社区是广东省潮州市潮安区东凤镇下辖的社区，属城乡分类中的主城区。社区的名称有一段来历：南宋末年有人在此种葱、养鸭谋生，地称「葱园」；后来其始祖自凤塘向东迁居于此，地名遂改为「东凤」。[1]

地名由来[edit]

据博雅地名网，此处先以「葱园」为名，缘于先人以种葱和养鸭为业。始祖自凤塘迁来后，地名改作「东凤」，与所从出的凤塘相对。社区与天宁村、仙桥村、下园村、王厝陇村等村相邻。[1]
