东凤镇是广东省潮州市潮安区下辖的镇，位于韩江下游西侧，与潮安新县城相接。博雅地名网记载，全镇辖1个社区和34个行政村，镇域面积33.5平方公里，总人口约8.6万人（未注明统计年份）。镇内以制鞋、食品、服装、五金和印刷包装等工业为主，博雅地名网称东凤为著名侨乡。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

驻地旧名葱园，因居民多以种葱为业。据博雅地名网，南宋宝庆年间，陈东溪由凤塘迁来定居，为纪念祖先，把地名改为东凤。北宋元丰年间以前，此地属海阳县延德乡。[1][3]

1904年（光绪三十年）由都改为区。1930年（民国十九年）推行分区自治，南桂区与江东区合组为江桂区；1940年（民国二十九年）改为潮安县第五区，1946年撤区，原南桂区境域设为南桂乡。[3]

1949年10月23日，潮安获得解放，此地又并入江东，称江桂区；1950年复为潮安县第五区，1955年5月28日起名东凤区。1958年并为东凤公社，1983年12月撤公社设潮州市东凤区，1987年3月改设东凤镇。1992年4月，潮安县重新设立，东凤镇归其管辖；2013年6月28日，潮安县撤销后改设潮安区，东凤镇随之划入。[3][4]

据维基百科，东凤镇辖1个社区、34个行政村，村级区划单位数为35。镇域位于韩江下游西侧，与潮安新县城接壤。[1][4]

据博雅地名网，塑料制鞋行业的年产值占全镇工业总产值三成以上，出口量约占全镇出口值的八成。食品、服装、五金与印刷包装也是主要行业。工业企业共1008家，高科技型企业占20家。[1]

2002年的外贸出口为2073万美元，全镇工商税收1688万元，当年工农业总产值为16.22亿元。[1]

农业方面，东凤曾为粮食高产区，水稻连续8年保持「吨谷镇」称号；芡实种植也有发展。[1]

据维基百科，镇内中学有东凤中学（初中部、高中部）与鳌头中学（初中全制校）。小学有内畔小学、下园小学、洋东小学、下张小学、仙桥小学等。[4]
