历史沿革[edit]
1914年以前，下阁村属海阳县登隆都。相传创村时，此地是韩江冲积成的沙洲，常有凤凰栖息，因此得名。[2]
人口与产业[edit]
村内有居民3197人。农田700亩，种水稻、香蕉、甘茨与花生；工副业以陶瓷、竹器、抽纱为主。[2]
陶瓷产业撑起全村经济，现有80家陶瓷企业，其中星辉、永明灯具、浩业规模较大。[2]
2005年，村中工农业收入合计9932万元，对外出口额600万美元，上缴税款200多万元，人均收入4279元。[2]
革命与侨乡[edit]
第三次国内革命战争时期，本村为革命游击区。村子属侨乡，旅居海外的侨胞一千多人，多居东南亚。[2]
荣誉[edit]
1999年，本村被评为省卫生村；2005年，又被评为文明村。[2]
2020年9月、2021年10月和2022年10月，下阁村先后入选淘宝村名单；2026年1月，获评「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」称号。[1]
