吉林村为潮安区凤塘镇所辖的行政村，位于镇政府驻地东南约2.5千米处，乌洋山在村东北。村子明末创建，俗称吉篮。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

村子原本周围树林茂盛，取吉祥之意而定名吉林。潮语中“林”与“篮”古时同音，所以俗称吉篮。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1974年，以村名命名为吉林大队。此后，1999年起改设吉林村民委员会，至今仍用此名。[1]

产业[edit]

村民以种植水稻和甘薯为主，村内有陶瓷厂和彩瓷厂等工业企业。镇道从村北经过，可通潮汕公路。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，吉林村入选「2018年广东省民主法治示范村」创建单位名单；2021年12月，获「2021年广东省卫生村」荣誉；2022年10月，列入淘宝村名单。[1]
