福庆村俗称北径，是广东省潮州市潮安区古巷镇下辖的行政村，位于古巷镇政府驻地东面约0.5千米，属城乡结合区，古竹公路穿村而过[1][2]。村中有水稻高产的耕地，并有陶瓷、凉果等企业[2]。

地名由来[edit]

村北有三座山，村民从小路上山，到山后垦荒种植，故称北径。后人认为此地是福林公选定的福地，于是改雅称福庆[1][2]。

据《蔡氏族谱》，其先祖原居福建莆田，宋末元兵攻宋时随宋帝南迁，定居于海阳县归仁都北径[2]。

人口与产业[edit]

村内有耕地929亩，以水稻为主，为水稻高产区；山地种松、杉及橄榄等，兼养塘鱼。集体与个体企业共90家，主要为陶瓷、彩瓷、凉果与石板材加工[2]。

2020年9月、2021年10月与2022年10月，该村三次被列入淘宝村名单[1]。2023年5月，广东省爱卫会授予该村「2022年广东省卫生村」称号[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

1958年公社化期间，村子以村名组建「福庆大队」；1999年改为福庆村民委员会，此名沿用至今[1]。
