上埔村位于潮州市湘桥区城西街道，属城乡结合区。广东省爱卫会于2023年5月把「2022年广东省卫生村」的称号授予了该村；2019年9月，村庄上榜「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1987年1月，村民委员会在此组建，名为上埔村；1989年12月，它改成了上埔管理区委员会的编制，直到1999年5月1日才又回到村民委员会。[1]
