胜龙村于2001年10月由沥心村、北洲村和胜龙村合并而成，辖区分胜龙、北洲、沥心三片，共37个村民小组。农业以农副产品为主。[1]
2020年8月，广东省农业农村厅公布「首批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」名单，胜龙村以脆肉鲩入选。2020年、2021年和2022年，村庄也三次上榜淘宝村名单。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
最初此地的名称是“胜隆”，取自祥胜、聚隆两个围田各一字。清咸丰末年，民居沿胜龙涌两岸排成线状。1989年4月，因“隆”与“龙”谐音，且“龙”字寓意更佳，改称胜龙。[1]
1949年此地称草塘村，隶属民生乡。1958年，永胜、六盛、新沙三处自然村析出，另设草塘生产营。1961年分设胜龙、北洲、沥心三个大队，1967年沥心并入北洲，属坦背公社。[1]
