新胜村由原新成村委会与永胜村委会合并而成，各取一字定名。2020年、2021年和2022年，新胜村先后三次上榜淘宝村名单。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年，此地为乌沙、草塘两村，隶属中山县第三区民生乡。1951年，它分属乌白乡鸡笼村与草坦乡北洲村。1958年，又分属鸡笼、草塘两个生产营。[1]

1961年，鸡笼二大队分为鸡笼、新龙、新成、永胜四个大队，隶属小榄区鸡笼公社。1967年新成与永胜合并为蚬沙大队，1981年再析为两个大队，1984年分设新成、永胜两乡。[1]
