在小榄东南方，宝丰社区正处于镇工业园区的核心位置。东侧挨着益隆村，南侧与太平村相邻；西侧是联丰社区，北侧靠近盛丰社区。社区面积6.9平方公里，居委会与镇政府相距约9公里。[1]

这里地形平坦，水网交错，属典型的沙田水乡，有鱼米之乡的美称。区内有5条自然村。居委会原设于宝丰村，社区因此得名。2022年9月，社区被认定为「2022年度第一批中山市绿色社区」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1932年，此地属五埒东乡；1946年归复兴乡管辖；1951年又回到五埒乡。[1]

1971年，宝丰乡从五埒乡析出。村委会于1986年成立，到2000年改为社区居委会，名称沿用至今。[1]
