上南村位于阜沙镇南部，南临小榄水道，共有20个村民小组。村内河涌纵横交织，村民多临河聚居。[1]

地理与人口[edit]

村东接港口镇中南村，南侧濒临小榄水道，西侧连阜沙村，北侧隔阜沙河与丰联村相望。村部离阜沙镇政府2.9公里，全村总面积5.5平方公里。[1]

村内河道总长逾20公里，村民多临河聚居。户籍家庭1520户，户籍人口为5838人，在册外来暂住人口约6700人。全村征用土地4196亩，农用地2211亩。博雅地名网未注明这组数字的年份。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清末民初，这里属于香山县第九区浮墟段。1950年，上南乡在此设立，归第十区管辖。1957年改为上南集体农社，隶阜沙乡；1961年则转属中山县的大南公社。[1]

1964年，上一、上二两大队相继成立，归中山县港口公社管辖。两大队于1966年合并为上南大队，又回到阜沙公社。1981年，文安大队自其中析出；1983年，上南与文安分别以乡的形式存在，至1986年才各自组成村委会。2012年，文安这一村委会并入上南。[1]

荣誉[edit]

上南村在2020年9月、2021年10月和2022年10月先后入选「淘宝村」名单，其中2021年的名单由南京大学空间规划研究中心与阿里研究院联合发布。2026年3月，上南村被认定为广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇。[1]
