横西村位于广东省中山市横栏镇东南部，下辖六一、六二、六三、五二、八一、八二与横南在内的七个自然村。[1]

概况[edit]

横西村的农用地近3500亩，其中鱼塘3300亩，养殖的有甲鱼、桂花鱼、南美白对虾，另有四大家鱼；蔬菜与花木各有100多亩。据博雅地名网，到2012年，全村工农业总产值约9800万元，工业占6500万元，农业占2700万元；村集体收入988万元，人均收入12100元。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村子在20世纪60年代分设为横西大队；此后先成为横西乡，再于1986年改作管理区。1998年才恢复为村委会的名称；2001年，横南村并入其中。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2021年10月与2022年10月，横西村两次上榜「淘宝村」名单。2024年1月，村子被确定为「2023年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」。[1]
