横东村位于广东省中山市横栏镇，在镇政府东南约1.8千米处，毗邻沙溪镇。全村辖区面积6.96平方千米，共13个生产小组。[1]

产业[edit]

横东村早年以水产养殖为主，主产甲鱼、桂花鱼与南美白对虾。据博雅地名网，村子正逐步由农业转向工业与第三产业，永兴工业区坐落于村内，已进驻不少灯饰制造企业、物流公司和商场。到2012年，全村工农业总产值约1.87亿元；村组两级集体总收入为1113万元，农民人均纯收入达15010元。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

横东村的前身是1960年设立的横东大队，1983年成为横东乡，1986年才建起村委会，此后一直沿用这一建制。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2020年9月、2021年10月与2022年10月，横东村三次上榜阿里研究院公布的「淘宝村」名单。[1]
