胜隆社区位于港口镇东部，北面以浅水湖与群乐社区分隔，南面隔石岐河与「火炬高技术产业开发区」及东区相望，东边接东河口，西面与群众、民主两个社区毗邻。社区在镇政府以东约4.8公里处，总面积7.53平方千米。[2]

地名由来[edit]

社区由新胜、新隆两村合并而成，「胜」「隆」二字各取自两村，居委会驻地设于此，遂称胜隆。[4]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时，新胜村的范围是港口日新社与万安社，位于港口圩镇内，属港口第六保。1952年该村隶属民主乡，称新胜村；1961年析出，全村迁至新围和旧围，设新胜大队。1984年改称新胜乡，此后于1986年12月成为港口镇的新胜村民委员会，1990年12月又设为新胜管理区。[2]

新隆村包括大雁和雁尾两处，1951年定名新隆村，1976年从民主乡分出为新隆大队，1984年为新隆乡；1986年2月，此村另称新隆村民委员会。两村在2001年6月合为一体，称胜隆村民委员会；2002年3月才改设胜隆社区居民委员会。[2][3]

截至2025年1月，社区户籍为1074户，5925人；常住人口则有8326人。社区下辖25个居民小组。[2]

经济[edit]

社区共有27个经济组织，其中包括「中山市港口镇胜隆股份合作经济联合社」、中山市港口镇胜隆经济发展公司，以及25个经济合作社。经营性集体物业合计63158.03平方米，其中厂房有60085.03平方米。[2]

2024年12月31日，村组的集体收入合计976.66万元：其中经营收入为933.03万元，另有其他收入43.63万元。[2]

社会事业[edit]

党群服务中心占地2000多平方米，设「一厅五室」，为居民提供计生、户籍管理、社保、民政等服务。社区与中山日报社合作，建成「香山少年驿站」港口镇胜隆社区站。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2026年1月，胜隆社区获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。2022年11月，社区被认定为「2022年度第二批中山市绿色社区」，同月还被确定为「2021年度全国综合减灾示范社区」。[1]

社区还在2024年获得「南粤家政」基层服务站绩效评估A级（优秀）站点的评定。[2]
