港口镇是广东省中山市下辖的镇，位于中山市中部。截至2025年8月，全镇辖8个社区和2个行政村，行政村为下南村与中南村。^[2]

历史沿革[edit]

此地得名于清末的交通位置：当时它是县辖境中心石岐通往广州的必经港口，因而称作港口。^[1] 据百度百科，清朝后期此处已形成港口圩，清道光七年（1827年）一度叫作港口村；其后民国35年为港口乡，1955年为港口区，1958年8月为港口公社，1983年又为港口区，直到1986年才定名港口镇。^[2]

2001年，港口镇的多个村委会陆续合并调整，2002年前后改设为社区居民委员会。2021年7月，新港社区自港口社区析出，经市政府原则同意设立。^[6]

港口镇位于中山市中部，是主城区北面的重要拓展区，同时也是岐江新城这一产业平台的主阵地所在。^[2]^[3] 镇域面积在三个来源中各不相同：百度百科为71.27平方千米，博雅地名网为70.87平方千米，维基百科为70.5平方公里。本条以百度百科数值为准，三者均未注明年份。^[1]^[2]^[3]

维基百科称，京港澳高速公路与中鹤高速公路穿过全镇，中江高速在此设有中山城区出口，镇域靠近中山北站。^[3]

同页的2006年数据显示，学生方面，在园幼儿有2673人，在校中小学生则为12788人；全镇教职工中，教师共586人。学校类别包括职业中学、初级中学、小学与幼儿园，其中部分小学为民办。^[4]

医疗方面，全镇只有一间一级甲等医院，编设病床120张，另有社区卫生服务站11个，并建成占地100亩的港口新医院。^[4] 2006年，镇文化站组织了大型活动6场、单项活动15场，另办培训12期。^[4]

2010年3月，港口镇获环境保护部授予「全国环境优美乡镇」称号。2020年7月，经全国爱国卫生运动委员会复核，港口镇被认定为「国家卫生乡镇（县城）」。同年8月，港口镇以水产养殖一项入选广东省第二批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业镇。^[5] 2020年、2021年和2022年，港口镇先后列入淘宝镇名单。^[5] 百度百科还写到「国家卫生镇」「广东省文明镇」「广东省教育强镇」等称号，未注明获得年份。^[2]
