涌头村是广东省中山市沙溪镇下辖的行政村，位于镇的西南面，南邻横栏镇，东邻大涌镇，村内有近3公里长的海岸线。[1][2]村名的由来是村子处在河涌的上游，俗称涌头，村以此得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年，村子归康乐乡所辖；1953年独立设为涌头乡，1958年改称生产营，1961年称大队。[1]1983年再设涌头乡。[1]

1986年改为村委会，1990年变为管理区，1998年重新称为村委会。[1]

经济与民生[edit]

2009年，村集体纯收入为1159万元，村民人均收入为11020元。[2]

荣誉[edit]

1998年，村子创建为省、市卫生村；村党支部在2007年至2008年度被评为中山市先进党支部，2007年至2009年度，村里被评为中山市文明村和广东省文明村。[2]

2019年9月，涌头村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]2021年10月和2022年10月，村里先后列入「淘宝村」名单。[1]
