海滨社区是广东省中山市火炬开发区（中山港街道）下辖的社区，位于开发区东部，南与南朗镇的茶东、濠涌、华照、麻西相接，西邻中山港。社区因居委会设在海滨而得名。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1963年，珊洲、东利、黎村三村合并为前卫大队，茂生、马安两村合并为东升大队，同属张家边公社。1983年两大队合并设珊洲乡，仍辖五村；1985年撤乡，改为前卫、东升两个村委会。[1]

2002年3月，前卫与东升两村委会合设海滨村委会；2003年，村里在沿江公路东利路段盖起了海滨村行政大楼。2008年，村改为居委，名为海滨社区居民委员会，此后未再改动。[1]

人口与分区[edit]

博雅地名网记社区辖区面积约17.5平方千米，常住约6724人，合计2008户；外来暂住者约2.5万人，下设5个党支部，辖东利、珊洲、黎村、茂生、马安五个自然小区。维基百科在火炬高新区的统计页中，把面积记为22平方千米，户籍人口记为6800多人、常住人口记为2.5万余人，两种数字并列于此。[1][3]

荣誉[edit]

2012年10月，社区被司法部、民政部确定为第五批全国民主法治示范村（社区）。[1]

2023年12月，社区被认定为「2023年度中山市绿色社区」。[1]
