大环村在中山市东部、火炬开发区中部，由城东社区管辖。村子三面环山，背靠华佗山，小隐涌从村中穿过。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村子始建于元末，至今已有600多年。因小隐涌在此形成S形河道，村名初为大弯村，后改称大环村。清末，村中已形成侨乡，海外侨胞达1100余人。[1]

文化与古迹[edit]

村里仍有34座碉楼，既有蓝色的，也有红色的，都属中西合璧的建筑。抗战期间村民参加过多场战斗，碉楼上留着弹痕，村子因此获得「抗日堡垒户」的称号。[1]

粤乐宗师吕文成的故里也在本村，前中山县县长张惠长的故居「张公馆」亦坐落于此。华佗庙建于清光绪二十八年（1902年），为中西结合风格的庙宇。[1][2][3]
