库充村位于中山市城区中心，属东裕社区，距东区办事处约4千米，是中山市区典型的城中村。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

据称村落的开辟始于南宋绍兴八年（1138年），开村者为陈氏族人。村名的来历有两说：一说村南的金字山与村北的伏虎岗之间有老虎涌，故称虎涌；另一说村形似釜，村中河流名为釜涌，村因此又称釜涌村。[1]

清初此地一度称库涌村。到清乾隆年间（1736年至1795年），村人集资修建的闸门上刻有“库充”二字，寓意仓库充实，村名遂通行“库充”。[1]

地理与人口[edit]

村落位于五桂山北麓的丘陵地带，背靠库充后门山。站在村中可望见金字山与孙文公园，白石涌自东向西流过村子南侧。[1]
