地名由来[edit]
政府网站称，清代顺治年间，道滘的叶姓耕农于每年双夏季节在此汇合，扎寨耕种，村因此得名“夏汇”，别称汇溪。博雅地名网、百度百科所载大体相同。[1][2][3]

百度百科记，清乾隆年间叶姓迁入，光绪年间林姓迁入。村内的古榕树公园是立村的地标。[2][1]
