地名由来[edit]
据传此地曾名“洋军村”，因方言中“洋军”与“尧均”读音相近，演变成今名。百度百科记，该村其后于1943年一度称萼辉村或五福村，1949年方定为今名。[1][2]
建村与人口[edit]
关于建村年代，百度百科记为1913年，由15户渔民聚居形成；博雅地名网则记为1926年，有15户渔民迁来始居。两说并存。[2][3]
政府网站记村户籍743人，282户，新莞人约7000人。该网站称，尧均是洪梅建村历史最短、人口和面积最小的一个村。[1]
