洪梅社区是广东省东莞市洪梅镇下辖的居民社区，位于镇中心区，是全镇目前唯一的社区。社区面积与户籍人口的记载因来源而异：政府网站称面积1.5平方千米、户籍人口4364人，外来人口约1.8万人。[1]

社区北与望牛墩镇相接，东与道滘镇隔河相望，西北与麻涌镇隔一条河相望，西南毗邻沙田港，东江支流流经辖区。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1987年洪梅区改为洪梅镇时，原先的9个乡各设为管理区，同时新设居民管理区，专门管理镇内的非农业人口。此后于1999年转为居民委员会，2005年定名为洪梅社区居委会，并延用至今。[3][4]

人口与设施[edit]

政府网站（2024年12月）记社区户籍人口4364人、新莞人1.8万多人，面积1.5平方千米。博雅地名网与百度百科则记为面积2.5平方千米、户籍人口755人（489户），年份未注明，两说并存。[1][2][3][4]

社区内有镇市民中心，另有学校、幼儿园、图书馆、医院、银行，以及水乡中心公园和商业街。[1]

社会治理与荣誉[edit]

社区先后被东莞市评为「文明小区」「市计划生育合格社区」，并通过党建引领的多元服务参与社区治理。[2][4]
