田厦村是塘厦镇南部的自然村，位于石鼓社区西北边缘，距镇政府驻地约6千米。2004年，它并入石鼓社区[1]。
建村与更名[edit]
元末，黄姓先祖迁来此地立村，最初叫「田螺厦」，后改称「田寮厦」，最终简化为现名。因村中有一块形如鼓的大石，村子曾改名石鼓村[1]。
清代，此地隶属东莞县归城乡第六都；民国时划入第四区[1]。
人口与经济[edit]
2015年末户籍人口476人，居民属广府民系，说东莞塘厦话，属粤方言。过去以种水稻和荔枝为生[1]。

村中现存25座广府传统民居，另有两棵树龄约两百年的细叶榕。爱保黄公祠2012年重建，面积200平方米[1]。黄乙章烈士（1904年—1945年）1944年加入东江纵队，1945年7月在石鼓一带遭日军杀害[1]。
