清溪社区是清溪镇下辖的唯一一个社区，位于镇中心区，镇政府驻地也在辖内，是全镇的商业、文化和政治中心。社区设11个居民小组，户籍居民6000多人，另有外来的新莞人近5万人。[1][4]

历史沿革[edit]

社区的前身是1956年建置的清溪居委会。1983年，清溪公社改为清溪区，1987年区改为镇，原来的清溪圩镇转为清溪居民管理区。2005年1月，此地正式命名为清溪社区居委会，沿用至今。[2]

经济[edit]

据镇政府网站，2021年社区两级的收入合计约4434万元，其中净收入3550万元；2024年的合计收入回落至3594万元。2025年前三季度，合计收入为2514万元，净收益1197万元。[3]
