北岸社区是广东省东莞市黄江镇下辖的社区，位于镇域中心一带，2011年8月1日挂牌成立，由原北岸村单独组成。[1][3]

社区面积约3.5平方千米，林地约2252亩。镇政府网站2024年初的统计称，户籍人口不足两千，常住人口约二万九千，外来人口占绝大多数。[2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

博雅地名网称，此地清代立村，初名白银坑，后改用现名。[1]

2011年8月1日，居委会与政务服务中心一同挂牌。2013年10月，综合服务中心成立；2014年1月，政务服务中心迁入新楼。其后机构几经更名，2018年12月定名为党群服务中心。[3]

党组织方面，党工委设于2013年秋季，到2020年11月下旬升格为党委，目前下辖2个党支部，党员共59人。[3]

人口与地理[edit]

博雅地名网记2012年12月的情况：社区总人口约一万六千余人，其中户籍一千五百九十人、四百九十一户，外来人口约一万五千人，户籍居民涉及11个姓氏。[2]

镇政府网站的统计截至2024年1月中旬，户籍为八百七十三户、一千九百八十三人。[3] 两处的户籍数字相差悬殊，原因未见说明。[2][3]

社区东邻樟木头林场，南面与黄牛埔村相接，西面连着黄江村与大朗镇的仙村，北面与合路村相连。东环路、西环路与公常路贯穿全境。[3][2]

土地上，工业用地两千六百多亩，园地二百亩左右（以荔枝园为主），山地两千六百多亩。[3]

经济与设施[edit]

镇政府网站称，截至2023年底，村组两级集体总资产约四十八亿八千万元；村级集体资产四亿多元，村级总收入三千九百多万元，纯收入三千二百多万元。[3]

辖区有出租屋六百余栋、企业二百九十余家、九百余间个体工商户。[3]

社区有幼儿园两家（其中一家为公办）、老人活动中心两个、社区卫生服务站一个，中心广场约一万二千平方米，体育场约八千六百平方米。[3]

2020年12月，北岸社区列入2020年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[2]
