百度百科载，大井头社区距莞城24公里[3]。据快懂百科，1979年5月，一家香港企业以“三来一补”方式在大井头村办起了大朗第一家毛织厂，即大朗毛织一厂，带入一百多台织机和七名技工，被视为大朗毛织产业的起点[4]。

社区第二工业区的“工改工”项目用地约110亩，计划建筑面积约23万平方米，总投资6.8亿元，列为市重大项目；一期用地58亩，建厂房11万平方米，2025年11月一期已完成封顶。同期还升级了周边道路和大井头农贸市场[1]。

社会治理[edit]

政府网概况称，2025年以来，社区累计检查经营场所5647间次，发现并整改隐患8855处；受理劳动争议案件220宗，化解192起，调解成功率约87%。社区还累计开展反诈宣传活动889场，覆盖约12万人次[1]。
