塘唇村是广东省东莞市寮步镇下辖的行政村，位于寮步镇中心区的西北部，东面与石步村相接，西面隔黄沙河与新旧围社区相望。[1]

村子面积2.9平方千米，下辖塘东、塘西、礑坑、双岗四个自然村共9个村民小组。2024年底户籍人口2888人、1148户，另有新莞人常住约10000人。[1] 村里以梁姓人口居首，并有袁、殷等姓。[1]

姓氏与迁徙[edit]

村中梁姓的先祖一路辗转南迁，据村中记载，梁文壁于1209年来到两头塘定居，被视为塘唇村梁姓的始祖。袁姓则认为其始祖自江西迁入东莞温塘。[1]

行政沿革[edit]

1950年初，塘唇村划归东莞县第五区。此后数次更名：1953年为第三区两头塘乡，1955年改属寮步区两头塘乡，1957年称温塘大乡。1958年后成为寮步人民公社的塘唇生产管理区，1959年设塘唇大队，下辖9个生产队；1983年改称塘唇乡，1987年改为管理区，1998年11月改称村委会。[1]

经济发展[edit]

改革开放前，村子以水稻、甘蔗、木薯、番薯和荔枝等为主，手工业以织虾笼为主。1985年起大面积种植橙柑，并在旱地上间种荔枝；1990年，村里引进了第一家「三来一补」企业。2002年起实行土地统筹，村小组与村委会各分一半土地发展集体经济，至2024年村组两级的工业厂房面积达30.5万平方米。[1]

基础设施与荣誉[edit]

2002年至2024年间，村委会投入九千多万元修建道路，一千八百多万元整治黄沙河排洪站与水利设施，五百多万元扩建塘唇文化公园和星光老人之家。村里还将原塘唇小学改造为幼儿园。[1]

村子先后获得「东莞市文化达标村」「东莞市平安社区」「东莞市市容环境优美村」「广东省卫生村」「东莞文明村」等称号。[1]
