西溪村是广东省东莞市寮步镇下辖的行政村，位于寮步镇东北部，毗邻松山湖生态园。[1][2]

全村面积4.2平方千米，辖区包含七个自然村，分为十一个村民小组；登记户籍约五千四百人，另有常住居民约三万五千。[1] 博雅地名网所载的面积为8.8平方千米，常住人口三千九百余人，年份未注明。[2] 村内的西溪古村是寮步一处古建筑群，始建于明代弘治年间，被列为「广东省首批历史文化名村」。[1][3]

2023年，村与村民小组两级资产合计约五亿九千多万元，较前一年多出一千六百余万元。当年经营收入约八千三百万元，扣除成本后的纯收入为五千七百多万元。[1]

西溪古村[edit]

西溪古村依自然山势缓坡而建，采用岭南「梳式」布局，里巷规整，外围设有围墙等防御设施。古村现存明清古建筑约2.71万平方米，包括祠堂、书屋、民居、古井和池塘。[1][3]

2018年后，镇里采取市场化运营方式，将西溪古村定位为集度假、休闲与文化产业于一体的目的地。古村内已有民宿、汉服体验、莞香生活等类型的场馆。市、镇、村三级共投入近五千万元改善古村周边环境。[1]

2023年国庆假期，西溪古村因客流量大，进入全国受欢迎乡村游目的地的第三名。同年12月，东莞乡村振兴学院的寮步分院于大福楼挂牌成立。[1]

荣誉[edit]

村子先后被评为「中国传统村落」，西溪古村又获「广东省首批历史文化名村」的认定；村子还入选第三批「广东省文化和旅游特色村」。[1]
