南面村是广东省东莞市谢岗镇下辖的行政村，位于镇的东南部，东邻惠州市沥林镇，北接黎村。村内居民以客家人为主，银瓶山森林公园位于村域之内，其主峰银瓶嘴是东莞市的最高峰。村民以种植荔枝为主业，同时发展生态旅游，2019年入选第一批国家森林乡村，2020年以荔枝产业列入广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单。[1][2][3]

南面村的辖区面积为31.6平方千米，约占谢岗镇总面积的30.68%。村域的形状像星星散开，东边到惠州沥林的企岭村，西边到大龙村，南边连着清溪与樟木头，北边挨着黎村。潮莞高速从西侧穿过，仁深高速从东侧南北纵贯。[1][3]
村域东南部是银瓶山，主峰银瓶嘴海拔898米，被称为东莞第一峰。博雅地名网记村内森林覆盖率达到98%，百度百科则写作90%以上，两者口径不同。石鼓水库也在村内。[1][2][3]
历史沿革[edit]
南面村约建于明朝末年。清初，林氏先祖从广东兴宁县迁入，此后刘、阙、罗、温、李、邱、张、沙等姓陆续迁入。1925年因自然村位于谢岗南端而得名南面，当年设为乡。[1][2]
民国时期村子划在大同乡境内；1950年又归东莞大同乡管辖，1953年另组南面乡。1959年曾并入国营崖山农场，1962年农场解散后恢复南面大队。1983年改设南面乡，1980年代中期改为管理区，1999年设立南面村委会。[2]
人口[edit]
镇政府网站记2022年全村共有438户，户籍人口1821人，分别住在石鼓片区和麻岭片区。博雅地名网则记为363户、户籍人口1500人，外来人口2000人，两者年份不同。村内下辖11个村民小组。[1][2]
经济[edit]
村内工业较少，农业比重较大。全村林地面积约3万亩，其中荔枝经济林地达7000多亩。2011年村内荔枝获得绿色食品和无公害认证，2015年创建了荔枝品牌。2020年8月，南面村的荔枝产业使其列入「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单。[1][2]
2023年11月，南面村入选广东省「百千万工程」首批典型县镇村。村里以银瓶山的生态资源为依托，修建了登山步道和亲水步道，并发展农旅融合项目。[1][2][3]
名胜古迹[edit]
银瓶山森林公园位于南面村，园内有银瓶嘴登山道、五道将军亲水步道和观音座莲古道等主要线路。村里每年正月初三组织千人登山活动，镇政府每年9月也策划登山节。[1]
村内有林防修烈士墓。村中的观音坐莲石垒梯田与古村落遗址，以及建于清康熙二十二年的五道将军神庙，后者于1964年修建石鼓水库时拆除。[1]
人物与荣誉[edit]
新中国成立前，村民林浩池曾参加毛泽东在广州举办的农民运动讲习所。[1]
村里曾获广东省卫生村（2011年）、东莞市生态村和文明村等称号。[1]
