横沥村位于横沥镇中心区，毗邻寒溪河。村子处在三公里商圈内，辖区有碧桂园松湖明珠等多个大型楼盘。村域面积约3.6平方千米，下辖6个村民小组。[1]
本村户籍1386户，户籍人口3843人。外来人口约1.6万人，全村企业约311家，以电子、玩具与模具为主。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
元末明初，叶、陈、李、邓四姓人家从南庄的超朗迁来，在此立村，名为横沥村。[2]
1953年，横沥与半仙山合组横山乡；之后的1958年成为横沥生产大队，1983年设为横沥乡，1987年改设管理区，1999年才改为村委会。[2]
经济[edit]
2025年村集体总资产57494万元，同比增长0.35%。村里拿出1.23亿元，建成了智能光电产业项目。另有银通路一宗厂房升级为建筑面积约4.3万平方米的新型工业厂房。[1]
