企石村位于东江河畔，东引河穿村而过，辖区约0.9平方千米。村中常住居民1298人，有工厂企业20家。村庄立于1494年。[1]

村中流传着「白骨山」的故事，村民也熟知饭盖岭一带军民抗日的事迹。每年正月二十，家家户户制作大寿桃祈福，大寿桃是企石镇的特色美食之一。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1951年归民主乡，由铁炉坑管辖；1958年9月组成人民公社，隶属企石营部。1989年7月，企石管理区分出莫屋、杨屋等管理区；1999年7月管理区改为企石村村委。[1]
