谷吓村位于石排镇西部，四周分别是庙边王村（东）、茶山镇超朗村（南）、塘尾村（西）和埔心村（北）。博雅地名网则称村庄位于石排镇中部，与政府网站记载的西部不同。[1][2]村域面积1.74平方公里，下辖谷吓、石井、孔屋、树吓、村头5个自然村。[1]

村名相传取“五谷满夏”之意。村内李爷庙纪念明朝的串村郎中，村中王氏、林氏、孔氏等宗族仍有祭祀活动。2025年村两级总收入4485万元。[1]

经济与改造项目[edit]

2025年村集体总资产3.76亿元，村社两级自有物业出租总面积23.02万平方米，出租率为95.9%。2025年村两级收入合计4485万元，比上年下降4.98%。[1]

石井的三旧改造地块在石岗路，此前是益昌厂的旧厂房。项目规划用地约1.8万平方米，拟建3栋标准厂房及1栋综合服务楼，投资约1.34亿元，计划于2026年7月竣工。项目建成后可为村集体每年带来约810万元租金收入。[1]

宗族与民俗[edit]

每年三月初一，谷吓的王氏族人会在围后祭拜本族始祖。三月廿三，石井林姓族人抬出天后宫妈祖像巡村。八月廿七则是孔屋孔姓族人在祠堂中祭孔的日子。[1]

文化遗存[edit]

李爷庙位于太和路谷吓村路段一侧，据说建于明朝，纪念当时在石排、石岗、龙眼岗一带行医的串村郎中李爷。[1]
