太和社区在石排镇中心区，东部快速路在旁边，区内有石排大道（省道120）与龙腾路穿过。它是石排镇唯一接受户籍迁入的新型社区，居委会管辖镇内17个楼盘小区。[1][2]

社区以“百千万工程”为统领，获得「广东省五四红旗团支部」「广东省健康促进社区」等荣誉，并设有「南粤家政」基层服务示范站。[1]

管辖与治理[edit]

辖区按各楼盘小区的红线划定。社区为户籍与非户籍居民办理的事务涵盖政策讲解、户口办理、就业与社保、征兵登记、卫生与消防治安、调解纠纷等。[1]17个楼盘小区划为三个网格，并组建网格党支部。[1]

服务设施[edit]

党群服务中心内有党建展览馆、科普体验馆，另有图书阅览室与妇女儿童活动室；院内还建了一座核心价值观主题的小公园。[1]

2023年，社区的“南粤家政”基层服务站设在凯旋湾花园一处“邻里汇”党群服务站内，并被认定为广东省南粤家政基层服务示范站。该站以公益性与市场化相结合的方式运营，集服务、培训、就业与调解于一体。[1]
