樟村社区位于东莞市区东江南岸，地理与水陆交通条件都较好。社区总面积约2.93平方千米，以卢姓为主。[1][2]

据博雅地名网，樟村唐朝已立村，1952年设立樟村乡。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，樟村的建村可追溯至唐朝。1949年归第五区六凤乡，1952年设樟村乡，1953年改归第一区，1957年并入罗治大乡，1958年设樟村大队，归附城公社管。1984年为樟村乡，1987年为管理区，1998年成为村委会，2005年村改居，称社区居委会。[1]

社区内登记在册的本地居民为814户，人口3250人，此外还有外来人口六千余。社区下辖4个居民小组和13个经联社分社。[2]

社区设樟村平岭、温塘银岭两个工业园，标准厂房54幢。据博雅地名网，2016年两级集体资产合计约4.42亿元，两级经济总收入约7398.7万元。[2]
