历史沿革[edit]
博雅地名网称，民国时此地称潭源洞，解放后因处在潭源洞山上而改称潭岭，村委会设在潭岭村，村名由此定下。[1]
村民多为潭岭水库移民，环库而居。[1]
2003年12月乡镇区划调整时，原潭岭镇并入星子。[2]
2019年12月，潭岭村列入国家林业和草原局公布的第二批国家森林乡村名单。[1]
