龙口村是连州镇下辖的行政村，位于市区西南部，距县城约十公里，村名因所在山脉形如一条龙而来。2024年3月，该村被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。[1][2]

名称与沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，村委会设在龙口之上，因山脉形状像一条龙而得名。1999年起称龙口村村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2024年3月，龙口村被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。2019年9月，该村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]

村集体与设施[edit]

据村概况，2012年时，村集体经济收入约5万元，农民每人每年纯收入为7624元。此后，村委会投入45万元新建办公大楼，又投入30多万元铺设自来水管道。该概况未注明这些投入的年份。[2]
