星光村是广东省清远市英德市英红镇下辖的行政村，位于英红镇西北部，与横石塘镇接壤，广乐高速的一个出口设在村里。全村现有人口3510人，村民以种植水稻等粮食作物为主，近年来蔬菜种植也有一定规模。[3]

名称与沿革[edit]

村名原为赤围岭河下水岗两片村合并而成的赤光，后改称星光。[2]

1958年设星光大队，1983年改为星光乡政府，1986年改为星光村委会，1990年划为星光管理区，1998年10月7日起重新定为村委会，沿用至今。2004年12月，群建村委会并入本村。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年12月，广东省爱卫会授予星光村「2021年广东省卫生村」称号。2024年1月，星光村被确定为「2023年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」。[1]

规划与发展计划[edit]

规划按村庄分类，将星光村列为集聚提升类村庄，强化农业、休闲旅游等特色产业支撑，并完善村庄公共服务设施。[4]

根据2026年的五年发展计划，星光村拟落地「广地龙」特色养殖项目，规划养殖面积300亩，预计每年为村集体新增经济收入5万元。[5]
