大湖村位于黎溪镇墟镇以南约6公里处，临北江河畔与银英公路，是飞来峡水利枢纽的重点移民村。2026年1月，村里获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历：村址前原有一口大湖塘，因而得名。[1]

1951年设大湖乡，之后经历大队、乡政府和管理区的建制，1998年10月7日复设为大湖村委会。[1]

博雅地名网称，村里的移民村规划面积约0.3平方公里，于1998年建成。[1]

大湖村南邻湖溪村，东邻铁溪村，并与黎洞、大埔等村相连。[1]

人口民族[edit]

百度百科以2012年数据载，全村总人口3324人，其中水库移民2598人，分居塘壁岭、牛皮塘两个移民点。[2]

经济[edit]

百度百科载，村集体经济年收入约22万元，主要来自山租、屋租和管理费，年份未注。[2]

2024年上半年，湖溪村、大湖村的水库移民美丽家园省级示范项目有序推进。[3]

2024年12月25日，英德市人民政府批复《英德市黎溪镇大湖村村庄规划（2021-2035年）》（英府函〔2024〕173号）。规划期内，永久基本农田不少于29.65公顷，生态保护红线不少于408.35公顷，村庄建设用地规模定为26.36公顷。[4]

2021年12月，大湖村获「2021年广东省卫生村」荣誉称号；2026年1月，村里获评「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」。[1]
