灯塔村位于英德市下太镇东部，东与佛冈县高岗镇相邻，西接上太村。全村辖9个自然村、22个村民小组，共有1772人（博雅地名网，未注年份）。[1]

1953年办合作社时定名，寓意如灯塔指引航程。[2]

沿革[edit]

该村的组织几经变动：大队、乡政府、村委会和管理区先后出现，1998年10月起定为村委会，沿用至今。[3]

产业[edit]

村民以农业为主，作物有水稻、花生、红薯、芋头和砂糖桔。养蜂业也有一定规模，专业养蜂人约50人，家庭式养蜂十余户，年产蜂蜜约5.5吨。[1]

荣誉[edit]

广东省爱卫会于2023年5月授予石颈村「2022年广东省卫生村」称号，石颈属灯塔村。[1]

规划定位[edit]

《英德市下太镇乡村振兴规划（2022-2035年）》把灯塔村列为集聚提升类村庄，并以供港蔬菜基地作为特色农业种植基地之一。[4]
