鲜水村是西牛镇下辖的行政村，辖26个村民小组，以种植麻竹笋、沙糖桔为主，村内有两家笋制品公司。赤岭山烈士纪念碑在本村境内。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村内鱼塘较多，其中两口塘分别称为上水塘、下水塘，塘水常年清澈见底，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1954年设鲜水乡政府，1958年称鲜水大队，1983年复称鲜水乡政府。1986年起改称鲜水村委会，1990年改设鲜水管理区，1998年10月7日再定名为鲜水村委会。[1]

经济[edit]

村内以农业为主，主要种植麻竹笋、沙糖桔、冬瓜和水稻。两家笋制品公司的产品分为即食调味笋、清水笋和笋干三大系列。[2]

全村辖26个村民小组，共537户、2416人，设小学1间，村级卫生站1个。[2]

文化[edit]

2020年8月，鲜水村被列入广东省农业农村厅公布的「首批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」名单，产品为麻竹笋。2019年9月，村里上榜「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。2023年5月，广东省爱卫会授予梯下村「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

赤岭山烈士纪念碑位于本村。2026年9月30日，西牛镇在此举行烈士纪念日公祭活动，镇机关干部、民警、民兵和学校师生代表向烈士默哀并献上花圈。[3]
