地名由来[edit]

村名由六个自然村合称而来，村委会设在吊尾甲河村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村史始于1950年的行政村，1953年至1957年间经历乡制与村制的更替，1958年称六联大队。1973年12月以前归香坪公社管辖，1974年设涡水乡，隶属该乡。1983年又改称六联乡，1987年5月变为六联村民委员会，1989年10月改为六联管理区，1999年4月再复称村民委员会。[1][2]
