寨岗镇是广东省清远市连南瑶族自治县下辖的镇，位于县境东南部，镇政府设在寨岗墟，距县城34公里。全镇辖1个社区和23个行政村，维基百科列出的下辖地区与此相同。[1][2][4]
镇名原写作「寨冈」，为瑶族的排寨，境内多是冈峦起伏的山岭地域，故有此称。[1] 2026年5月，寨岗镇入选广东省第一批现代化建设中心镇。[1][5]
历史沿革[edit]
明清两代，寨岗归阳山县管辖。民国时期境内大部分地方仍属阳山县，只有阳爱一带的少数地方划归连州市。[1]
1953年1月，寨岗划归连南瑶族自治县，成为自治县的第四区。1955年3月设寨岗区公所，1987年3月改设寨岗镇。[1] 2004年7月，寨岗与寨南镇合并。[2]
据博雅地名网，寨南原有的黄姓约于明永乐年间自福建迁入，韦姓自连山迁来，瑶族先民则从广西与湖南迁入。[2]
2014年7月，寨岗镇被确定为全国重点镇；2023年11月，入选广东「百千万工程」首批典型县镇村。[1]
地理环境[edit]
博雅地名网载全镇辖区面积约275平方千米；百度百科则写作330.42平方千米，两者相差较大，均未注年份，此处并列。[1][3]
镇境约一半为河谷盆地，日照时间较长，年降雨量在1800毫米以上，霜期较短；另一半为石灰岩山地与山坡林地。[2]
全镇有林面积约20.98万亩，森林覆盖率为43.06%，林木以松、杉、枫、樟、楠为主，另产毛竹、油茶与山苍子。[2]
境内水力与矿产资源较多，已建大小电站54座，装机容量33330千瓦；现已开采的矿点有铁、铝、锌、铜、锡、砷、煤等，其中铁矿较为丰富。[2]
人口民族[edit]
博雅地名网引用第七次全国人口普查结果，载镇人口约3.16万人，2021年6月公布。[1] 百度百科则载2019年末户籍人口51439人，口径不同，此处未作调和。[3]
镇内汉族与瑶族（过山瑶）杂居，瑶族有1696人；全镇共有七十种左右的姓氏。[2]
经济[edit]
百度百科载2019年全镇生产总值13.7亿元，其中第一产业3.3亿元，第二产业6.9亿元，第三产业3.5亿元，比上年增长7%；农民人均可支配收入14257元。[3]
农作物以水稻、番薯、花生、玉米为主，是县内主要的粮食产区之一；人均耕地约六分八厘。[2]
据2026年的政府通讯，镇里以“百千万工程”为总抓手，已签约落地项目4个，总投资2.12亿元；县域副中心的15个基建工程项目在推进中。[6]
同一通讯称，2025年社墩、安田、官坑、称架四个村通过典型村考核，2026年启动金鸡、铁坑、吊尾三个村的培育建设。[6]
2026年，镇里推行“一村一品、一片一业”的布局：山心村拟把脆蜜金桔种植拓展至800亩，安田村与金星村连片种植山苍子，总面积超过1000亩。[7]
石径村与成头冲村一带，一家农旅公司投入千余万元，引种「野酿2号」酿酒毛葡萄，并把成头冲村一处旧小学校舍改造成酿酒生产线。[8]
文化[edit]
圩镇的“圩镇客厅”设在山顶公园内，兼有党群服务、阅读、体育、广场活动与展览的功能；其中一间主题展厅陈列寨岗的历史、风貌、产业与文化。[9]
