五爱村是阳山县阳城镇下辖的行政村，位于镇的东面，下辖11个村小组。村名取自原五星、爱国两个生产队各一字。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

该村1940年设保，之后随乡政府与生产大队的反复变动而调整建制。1987年为村委会，1989年一度改设管理区，1999年又恢复村委会建制，沿用至今。[2]

地名由来[edit]

据博雅地名网，原五星生产队与爱国生产队合并成生产大队，各取两队名中的一字，村名由此而来。[3]

人口与经济[edit]

截至2014年底，本村总人口521户2465人，劳力1654人。耕地1405亩；旱地955亩。集体经济收入2.2万元，农民人均年收入6025元。[1]

荣誉与设施[edit]

2026年1月，五爱村获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。2024年3月，该村被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。[1]

2019年，阳城镇为五爱村党群服务中心列入升级改造工程；同年完成白石脚村的安全饮水村村通工程，并推进五爱白石脚农旅基地建设。[4]
