石坳村是阳山县阳城镇下辖的行政村，位于镇的西南面，下辖16个村小组。该村名源于村口有两个石山隘口，俗称「坳」。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

该村1940年设保，之后随乡政府与生产大队的反复变动而调整建制。1987年为村委会，1989年一度改设管理区，1999年又恢复村委会建制，沿用至今。[2]

人口与经济[edit]

截至2014年底，本村总人口429户2180人，劳力1293人。耕地1557.6亩；水田1130亩。集体经济收入3万元，农民人均年收入6129元。[1]

地名由来[edit]

因入村口有2个石山隘口，俗称「坳」，由此得名。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2024年3月，石坳村被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。2019年9月，该村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单。[1]
